Loose Sideview Mirror Glass

I've noticed that the driver's sideview mirror (electric) on my '06 Silverado has recently begun to vibrate. I'm speaking about the glass itself. Even at idle the glass vibrates which distorts your view; problem is worse at speed. I find this odd since I rarely adjust the mirror and it has never been hit/impacted by anything. I even adjusted the mirror through its entire range of motion hoping that it would settle back but it didn't improve anything. Anyone have this problem with their electric mirros? Will the entire sideview mirror (housing and all) need replacing? I am under warranty but I'm still curious what it will take to fix it.

I have an 04 with power retractable mirrors and I have the same problem. When I brought it in to the dealer they originally tried to tighten it but ended up just replacing the whole thing. That was over a year ago and it still vibrates slightly.

My 2000 with manual mirrors did this, and my 2005 with electric mirrors does it too. It's just one of those things...If ti gets really bad just have the dealer replace them. That's your best option.
