Has any one put a TBS on a NBS truck yet? I was talking to a guy the other day at a performance place, and he told me that I could get about 23hp if I installed it on the 6.0L...I find that hard to believe? I was wondering what everyones thoughts are them? Do they alter warranty?

He's full of

They don't void warranty... in fact, they don't do anything except make your wallet lighter.

You will gain something. They are not totally a bad deal. I put one on my 5.0l and it made the throttle response better, and a little fuel mileage. When I built the 383, it was transfered and there is so much torque, I am not sure it does much other than clean up the turblance before it goes to the intake to get mixed up again. For the money, I would not do it again. There are much better things to spend money on that will gain you in the end.

IMO Throttle Body Spacers are $100 paper weights. I had one on my last truck and didn't notice a thing. Throttle Body Spacers are only good on trucks that are Throttle Body Injected.

Waste of money. Will not show ANY HP increase on the dyno. Helps throttle response but the difference is so minimal its not worth the money, as stated above $100 paper weight.

+1. I had one on my '95 K1500 (which had TBI), and it did give me an increase in gas mileage. Whether or not I experienced any performance gains is debatable.

You want to make power, save your cash and get a heads and cam combo and find someone local with HP tuners that can tune it for you.

Throttlebody spacers only work on TBI or carburated wet systems 1996 & up are SPI and inject the fuel at the valve and spacers do no good.
