I just opened an account on www.gasaroo.com and plan to track my gas mileage for a while. I plan to see what type of change tire pressure will make, eventually what diffrent mods make as a difference and the more data points everyone contributes the better.

I don't even look at gas prices anymore. I just fill up and go. Not like you can go without it. On the other hand I don't drive my own that much. I use company truck for most driving. It's easy to fill up when the boss is paying

I agree it is easier to fill up when the boss is paying, but I am the boss so it is a bit harder to swallow that way. Besides I want to see how good of MPG I can get out of this new "active fuel management" system. So many say "you got a truck, why do you expect good gas mileage" well just because it is a truck does not mean it has to get bad gas mileage, just not as good. I am doing better than many cars out there.

Yeah I really dont care what im getting as long as the gas gauge doesnt move too fast.

Interesting site. But it seems like you'd just drive yourself crazy paying that much attention to gas mileage on a full-size V8 powered truck. I mean... you know it's going to suck. Just a matter of how much.
