Drafty Foot Well

I searched this topic and found an old post (2001) that had this problem... passenger's feet get a cold draft in cold weather - and there was a link to a geocities page that was dead, that appeared to have the answer. Can anyone help me on this one? My girlfriend is sick of having cold feet in the winter!

I may be confusing this with another issue, but I seem to recall a leak around where the air duct comes through the firewall. I also recall it was alot of work to even get to the area to fix it. Basically disassembling the entire dash and firewall in the passenger side. That part might be a cracked evaporator case. It's been awhile and I might be mixing problems and solutions.

... anyone else have any input on this? I find it hard to believe I"m the only one with this problem out there... any more specific information would be greatly appreciated... .thanks!
