2005 Silverado 5.3 2wd

I'm just curious about anything I can find out about my 05, such as, do I have tire pressure sensors, and is this drive by wire, etc. It is a 2005 LS ext. cab, long box, 2wd. Any info would be very much appreciated.

Well I can tell you for sure that you do not have tire pressure sensors and it is drive by wire.

Do you know if there's anything year specific to this model. I'm thinking about doing some mods and I don't want to run into any surprises.

Well one thing that comes to mind is the fact that in '05 on the 1/2-ton pickups they upped the size of the calipers/rotors so you have to stick with 17" wheels,and also on most models they went back to drum brakes in the rear.

I can't really think of anything else,But if you have any questions just ask,someone on here should know the answer.

I have a bass cannon (powered sub) that I would to hook up to compliment the factory speakers, do you know if the factory cd players have any outputs on the back?

No,I'm pretty sure they don't.I could be wrong though,I never got into messing with the factory radios.
