Big Wire Loom Under

Recommended Posts

When washing my burb the other day I had the frt wheels turned to the right. I noticed that under the driver side frt wheel well there is a huge wire loom that sticks out and runs into the engine compartment. It seems very important and it also seems to be clamped on so it did move there by accident. My question is : is that where it is supposed to be ? It looks to me that its in a spot where under the right conditions it could grab something and rip that sucker right out. Just wondered it any of you guys could check yours and see if its the same ?

thanks

This question is rapidly growing to K&N/Tire/Tune thread proportions.

Ice is sometimes a concern but normally only ices up under really bad conditions. So far nobody has posted a failure in it.
