Jerky/sputtering Acceleration

Ive had my truck for just about a year now and in the time ive had it it would do some weird things to me. Let me explain.

First time, was driving down the road and my truck would pulsate or jerk as if it was dropping into neutral and back to gear very quickly.

2nd time, got out of a car wash and while i was driving slow (through parking lot) the vehicle would do the same think. very jerky movement.

3rd time, in the morning after a rain, vehicle did the same thing at low speeds.

4th time (today) went into store for 30 minutes, went back out and while i was driving out of the parking lot it did the same thing.

other problem (month ago) very hard 1-2 shift and 2-1 shift until the next day. hasn't happened since.

each time the jerky action went away after about 30 seconds or 1 minute. Any ideas as to the problem?

no codes shown

thank you!

Try checking the spark plug wires. Sometimes they come loose and if one cylinder isn't firing it will cause those exact symptoms. You indicated that it happens when moisture is present. This may be caused by a faulty spark plug wire boot. If there are any cracks or tears in the boot or wire insulation it will let moisture in and short that plug out. That's all I can think of. Hope this helps.

+1(but I think a cel for a misfire would be thrown), then change the fuel filter

thank you, when i bought the truck i had new plug wires and plugs put on but ill have to check them out to see if one has come loose. It might be an idea to get my rotor/distributor cap changed too. Thanks guys. Im glad it doesnt sound like a transmission problem.

I didnt put battery grease on the terminals either, that might be an idea.
