Optima Battery For All The Audio/video Equipment

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra WT Regular cab (nbs).

 

 

 

I will soon be upgrading the entire sound system (speakers, amps, subwoofer, etc.) and I intend to later upgrade to an in-dash dvd receiver. That said, I want to put an Optima yellow-top battery in the convenient space there in the engine compartment. Which specific model do I need? Optima's website does not allow one to select 2007 model year vehicles. Pretty stupid, but hey, what are you gonna do?

 

What's the difference between BOXED and UNBOXED? I admit I do not understand what they're asking here.

 

The 2006 equivalent of my truck would ask for part 9014-045: Battery, Yellow Top, 12 V, Deep Cycle, 750 Cold Cranking Amps, Top/Side Post, BCI Group 34/78.

 

 

Is this correct for my 2007?

You should email, or call optima and see what they have to say, I could'nt tell you for sure one way or the other. I want to use an optima soon as well and I think I'm just going to be shooting them an email and seeing what they say.

Call them. They are a great company. They batteries are second to none. I have never used such a long lasting durable battery.
