Alternator Noise

I was curious if anyone ran into this issue with the NBS Silverado. I have alternator humming comming from the the aux input when i have my ipod connected to my DLO transpod. This is a charging station and fm modulator. It has an AUX output on it that i use for better sound. Only problem is the annoying humm of the motor through it. When i unplug the ipod and run straight into the AUX input it sounds clear. I think it might be an issue with the ground in the cigarette lighter. I have tried every aux power and it still hums. I know that it isn't the dock because i have used it in my last vehicle with no issues. If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to spend 125 on a new ipod interface for the radio.

Do you know where that wire connects at?? I went to radio shack and they said they didn't have anything like that there. I don't know where else to go get a part like that?
