Memory Seats/settings Not Responding

03 Bravada, When I push the momory seat button of my choice, 9 times out of 10 nothing happens. Sometimes when it does work the mirrors go crazy and i have to reset them. The easy exit seat recall rarely works anymore too.

 

Had it at the dealer once before for this issue and they said low voltage can cause it. Well just replaced the battery last week after it went dead for good. I was wishing that would have fixed the problem but it didnt. So I read it can either be the switch or the computer for the functions. Gotta send it back to the dealer to get it fixed before my 5yr GM OLDS warrenty runs out.

 

Is there any TSB for this issue? Id like to go into the dealer with some information maybe i can get it fixed for good then.

We've got no bulletins or PIs for this issue. One thing you can check yourself is wiggle the wire harness that goes from the door to the door jamb while pushing the butons to see if you've got a bad wire in that flex harness there. If you can get the door panel off, check the connections for the memory seat switch and the driver door module. If nothing changes, I'd say we're looking at a Drivers Door Module, but the Memory Seat Module, Memory Seat Switch, or a wiring issue somewhere could also cause this. But I would bet on the door module first.
