a 400LB door got dropped on my fingers (it's a wonder they didn't break) and I got presscribed drugs from the doc.

 

Do I have to pay for the prescription when I pick it up or do I just get it & leave?

 

 

I haven't had to fill a prescription since I was a kid.

The question is more or less for craps & giggles, or future reference. Cause I said screw it and went ahead and bought it.

 

 

Sorry guys, as you can imagine I'm a little bit out of it and I'm not thinking clearly.

I was hurt on the job a few years back. I was severely burned. They paid for all my meds, such as painkillers, burn cream and antibiotics. But I had to purchase all my bandages and medical tape and what not (about 20 bucks). But I just saved the receipt and gave it to my boss and he reimbursed me.

Yeah, from what I'm told, usually you pay for what you need here in Canada than send the receipts to workers comp or your insurance (some pharmacies send the receipts in them selves so you don't have to pay upfront), I don't know if its any different state side.

 

I am also not totally sure here either, I'm military, and I haven't had a prescription for at least 10 years.

I work in a pharmacy and have for the last 7 years. For worker's comp claims, the pharmacy should be able to bill the company directly. You should not have to put anything out of pocket. Just make sure there is a claim open.

 

The pharmacy will need alot of info to bill the company. For example:

 

Company name

Company address and phone

Company contact (either human resources or accident claims dept)

Date of injury

Type of injury

Your SS#

Any claim numbers you may have

 

Allow the pharmacy some time to call and get all the info verified and the claim going. Waiting on ins companies takes time, they are never in a rush to pay out money.

      Here's the second UOA on my 22 Wrangler with the Ecodiesel. This has 5k miles on AMSOIL Signature Series DEO 5w-40. The first one was dealer installed oil, no clue what it was, the second is what AMSOIL recommended, European FS 5w-40, Most of the Ecodiesel world is showing great results using the European MS 5w-40, I figured I would see how the DEO works. This is using an Ecoguard oil filter. It's my understanding this engine likes to shed aluminum.  We will see. So far I don't think this is too bad.

      I'm surprised nobody seems to offer a solution like the start/stop device I put in my new truck. Remembers my setting when shutdown. And while it still starts up in start/stop, it stores/evaluates what mode it was in when shut down and will change it whithin a second or 2 of startup. It'd be nice to have something like that for the DRLs.

      2015 Sierra 1500 here. Leaks from the sunroof to front driver side and soaks carpet. How do I fix this? Thanks!

      I will be doing that for sure, but I need to solve who has/ where I can find a bidirectional scan tool that will support OBD 1.5. I'm kicking myself because I ebay'ed a Snap On MT2500 that I didn't think I'd ever need anymore. D'oh!! I'd rather not buy another, so I'll contact a few local shops to see if they have one and how much they'd want to do the procedure. I'd rather have the ability to do it myself... I wish there was a modern tool that could do it all, but I'd have no idea what to buy.   The theory with the pulled timing is that it mimics a rich condition. The delayed spark causes incomplete burn and the O2 sensor picks up low oxygen levels. That's interpreted as a rich condition so the PCM pulls fuel and that shows up in the deeply negative fuel trims.
