Rear Lift Block?

Recommended Posts

Posted

Right now I have the Rough Country 2" leveling kit up front and I want to raise the rear end a wirhwe 1" or 1.5" so it doesn't "sag" when towing a trailer. So I was thinking of adding a rear lift block to raise the rear.

It looks like from the factory there is already a 1" block. Now should I just add a 1" or 1.5" on top of the factory block or take the factory block out and add a 2" or 2.5" block?

Thanks,

ILL.

Take it out and add a 2 inch block in its place. You'll eliminate the possibility of anything moving or shifting... MUCH better option and the cost is about the same.

Yep - stacking bad.

A 2-2.5 block shouldn't be an issue. 4"+ I would suggest doing something to combat axle wrap, either traction bars or links.
