Adding 3d Row Seatings To 07 Tahoe

Looking into adding 3d row seats to my wife's Tahoe. Do you guys know if the latches were they connect are already in place and are hiding under the carpet? Is this mod doable?

Want to check with this forum before removing the carpet.

Joe, I just traded in my 02 Tahoe with the 3rd row seating. I don't believe the anchor pins are under the carpet (4 per seat). If so, you'd be able to feel them or at least see dimples in the carpeting. I think that's a factory mod.

No it cant be added the anchors for the shoulder belts aren't there either.

Without the correct attachments its a real liability in case of an accident.

Don't attempt it.
