I had the same done to mine, but had them "spray" the tool box inside and out when they did the bed and side steps. Made the whole truck look better and easier to clean up (when I get around to cleaning it!).

sorry to say but you are going to regret the black box....... they are known to peal and become chrome again..... if you want to keep it black then i would suggest to spray it like the other guy did..... although i wouldnt say to do the inside..... thats just a waste of money

my toolbox is powdercoated black ... and the install loc gave me a lifetime warrenty on the finish of it .. so if mine peels it will be sprayed as well
