I can not believe how smooth and powerful the GMT-900s are, I had sped up on the highway to pass a slow chain of cars (gosh dang holiday/weekend drivers who think they have all the time in the world and go 55MPH in the left lane on 65 MPH section) and before I knew it the truck suddenly stopped accelerating. Looked down and my Needle was at around 97 MPH. Sweet deal! My old 99 5.3 had to work a bit harder to get up to there and was sure much more noisy doing so.

I've done that too. Same thing, passing a line of slow vehicles and then nothing from the truck. Except I was going down hill and when I looked down I was going 110 in a 55.

I purposely got mine o the shut off point to see exactly where it was. In no time at all i was at 98mph. And it had plenty more to go. It was really amazing how easily it got to the speed limiter.
