tinie0416 Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Do the 2007 NBS GMT900 6.0L v-max Z71(not NHT) have stiffer springs than the standard 5.3L Z71 GMT900?
cerbomark Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 i didn t think the vamx came with the Z71 option.
tinie0416 Posted November 30, 2007 Author Posted November 30, 2007 i didn t think the vamx came with the Z71 option. As you can see, in my pic of my truck, it does. You can get the 6.0L v-max with the Z71 pkg or with the NHT pkg. The Z71 pkg has 17" tires, and the NHT has 20" tires. Also the NHT pkg has a slot in the front of the chrome bumber to allow more air flow due to it can tow more.
cerbomark Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 GMC and Chevy maybe are different cause mine was stock with the 17 s or 18 s and i added on the 20 s later and i have the slotted front bumper too.

And if you have a slot in the front, you have NHT pkg. Look in your glove box, and see if you see a NHT option.

The Z60 package gives you the 20's. I had to pick between an NHT Silverado and a Z60 Silverado when I was buying my truck so I was able to compare the differences. The NHT package automatically includes the 6.0L engine. If you get a Z60 truck, the 6.0L is a separate option. All in all there are 3 actual packages, the NHT, Z60 and Z71.
