Heated Mirror Temps

I have a 2007 Silverado LT2 with heated mirrors and the right mirror takes a lot longer to defrost that the left. I checked the temps with a Fluke temp gun and the right mirror heats to 70 degrees and the left one heats to 110 degrees. The dealer told me that the temps are within normal range and that the right mirror temp should be lower than the left one. I find this hard to believe. What are the correct temps?

I can't find a spec on that. Really the only way to know is to check a like vehicle. But asking as a tech, I know you paid alot for your vehicle and I am a consumer myself I have to pay for my vehicles as well, but 70 is alot more than 32. In any case road test another one just like it, JUST LIKE IT, not close to it and see if its the same. I usually check atleast 2 other vehicles to come up with a baseline for something there just is no specification for.

Thanks for replying. I will try to do this. I just makes sense to me that they should be close to the same temp.
