03 Silverado Brakes And Rotors Replaced

i have a friend with an 03 silverado who had rotors and brakes replaced all the way around .now his truckk holds back on him will not coast for very long and gas mileage has went south according to the instant economy and the dte does not show the total mileage it would once show at each fill up.any ideas?brakes and rotors are about a week old

rear rotors were rusted, the guy at the shop said it would be better just to replace the rotors instead of turning them. when i got the truck back, he said the brakes would probably smoke until they were seated.

I would start by putting it up on blocks to find out which ones are sticking then tear it apart to make sure the caliper slide pins are properly lubed and not scored and sticking.

Your so posed to grind down the tabs on the pads so they aren't locked up pressed against the rotor w/o any brake pressure.

I'd also look at the parking brake.
