2008 Chevy Express Van/cutaway Radio Clock Problem

2008 Express van, the clock sometimes resets to 12:00.

Somehow the clock portion of the radio is losing power when it is not supposed to.

From what I can tell, it happens when some accessory is plugged into either cigarette outlets, like a cell phone charger or a GPS unit power cord. There are two outlets. both work fine.

I can't recreate this problem unless something is plugged into a 12v outlet.

It has not happened with nothing plugged into an outlet.

The radio is a basic 6 button base style AM/FM radio.

1-Can anyone check to see if there is a TSB on this problem?

2- Any other ideas?

Thanks

it is great that rodger found you a bulletin, but I have to ask the question as to why did you bother to write a post about this and not take it to a dealer for a warrenty repair?

I wanted to see if there was a TSB on it since I could not recreate it. I have taken problems into dealers before and if it isn't failing at that time, nothing gets done. As it is, I printed out the TSB # and brought it to the dealer.

I asked the service writer if he ever heard of this problem and he said no. This is a dealer in Marlton, NJ.
