07 Nbs Silverado Door Handle

i need to take the driver door panel off, got everything but the door handle. it is not the one up by the window, it is down kinda in the middle of the door. there is a small metal release under the handle, but i cant get it to do anything. Help please, and thanks in advance

what is so interesting behind the panel,is it not under warrenty?you will break somthing,the handle should go w/the panel ,then a cable to the latch,take it to a dealer.

yeah, that bolt in the pic doesnt loosen the handle though. there is a small, silver, piece on the handle itself, that looks like a release. thanks for the reply

what exactly are you trying to do here/

I have taken my door panels off a couple times...I could help if had more info.

i got what i needed. but i didnt get the panel completely off. do you have to dislocate the arm inside the door? the one that attaches to the outside handle? that is kinda crazy if so. thanks for the reply

the handle goes with the panel,take the cable end off of the easier end handle or latch,they are a pain while holding the panel,maybe get a helper,gl.

I still dont understand what you were trying to do with the door panel off?...changing handles?...speakers?

i had to take the pannels off to add chrome door handles. The entire pannel cam off but the interior handle has a cable (like on a motorcycle/atv hand brake) which has to be detatched. But i think the housing was plastic pop rivited....
