2005 Yukon Xl Transmission Fluid/filter

What fluid for transmission fluid change on 2005 Yukon XL at 20,000 miles. I am thinking Dexron VI, GM Part no 8861003 for the fluid.

 

How many quarts for a remove the pan, drain and replace filter - no flush ?

 

For the filter, I am thinking probably a GM filter. Anybody know the GM number for the filter ? Is the transmission in the 2005 Yukon a 4L60E or 4L80E ?

 

I found decent price online for the fluid, probably better than the local dealer.

 

Also, probably should change the transfer case fluid as well. What should I use for the Transfer Case ?

 

Any advice on what to use and where to get it is appreciated.

I don't know about the tranny... You should be able to use your rpo codes in your glove box to figure out which tranny it is.. As far as the transfer case, if it has an autofwd button on the dash with the 2hi 4hi 4low... then it would be autotrakII from the dealer.. If it has the auto4wd, don't use tranny fluid in the transfer case..
