2003 Cd/cassette Swap To 6 Disk Indash Changer

O, my 03 Silverado has the CD/Cessette and i have added the sirius SIR-GM1 Sirius tuner setup and it works great, but i dont even own any tapes anymore, so i want to change out the head unit for a factory in dash 6 cd changer, now my truck has the BOSE setup, and i want to find out what part numbers for the non-lux changers will work in my truck, and i know ill have to get it reprogrammed once its installed to it works.

Ok, heres the radio im looking at, it says its out of a 2004 trailblazer,

 

Part # 15196055 (this is the non-lux stereo)

 

 

Can anybody tell me for sure weather or not this will work in my 2003 Silverado? After i get it reprogrammed of course.

yeah i tried to pull up the part numbers on gmpartsdirect.com and it shows the different radios, but no part numbers for any of them, just prices.

OK, well i missed out on the one from the 04, but i just bought one from an 07 TBSS that is like new for 150 bucks. It is p/n 15827261

 

And i got word from another source that it will work fine. Just have to get the VIN reprogrammed into it so the BCM will tun it on.

 

I am hoping to have it in hand in the next week or so, and will get it installed and will post up my results.
