Passenger Headlight Not Working

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have a 2006 1500 Silverado Crew Cab.

I bought it new in December of 2005.

The original driver headlight went out spring of 2007.

At that point I replaced all of the low and high beam bulbs with the Slyvania Silverstar bulbs.

Since then I have replaced both the driver and passenger low beam bulbs twice.

Now the passenger low beam bulb is out and have replaced it with two different bulbs but it will not come on.

All of the other lights on the passenger side work.

Any ideas?

The wire looks fine.

The part where the bulb plugs into looks good also.

Are you getting power? I had a similar problem but water had seeped in and rusted the connectors.

Check fuses. I blew a fuse on my NBS silverado. There are sperate fuses for right and left- parking, turn signal, and headlights!!

The fuse was the issue.

Thanks to all for your help.

There are 2 fuse spots. The one under the hood has the one for the left and right headlight.

Glad that you found your problem. Just keep in mind that fuses usually blow for a reason, and from the sounds of it (with the number of blown bulbs you've had) you most likely have an electrical issue somewhere.
