Coil Over Conversion

I'm saving up money right now to do a coil over long travel front IFS suspension, similar to a prerunner setup but keeping the front 4wd setup. I have only found custom setups using this kind of lift, although I do like a solid axle, I think a coil over IFS conversion would be way cooler, especially if I can do desert racing at some point. Overall, I dont want much more than 4 inches of lift, this truck is going to be with me for a long time and I'd like to keep it useful.

Obviously the control arms are going to have to be changed completely to support a setup like I described, as well as the CV joints and steering linkages (probably fully hydraulic setup). I figured the lower control arm could be made of 1/4 inch steel? with a similar design to the f-150's aluminum lower control arms and the uppers I can do the same but with boxed 1-2 inch quarter inch wall tubing. Do you think it is possible to keep the alignment parts of the suspension? This is a really tall order I know. I figured the track width of the front will have to be increased as well.

Also, at some point in the future, the 5.3 is going and the 4.5 duramax is getting a new home. I am also going to box the frame and put structural supports at key points to reduce flex over those jumps I might be taking in the future

Any other ideas? suggestions? Thanks
