Header Question

Hi guys,

Im working on a new exhaust for my 89 305 sierra. I am looking at buying a new set of headers and I am wondering whether a set for the 305 will also fit a 350 engine. Also, what should I look for in purchacing a new set? are Ceramic headers good?

THanks!

Yes they will fit. ceramic is good but i would go stainless. just my opinion since there is salt thrown in the winters here. Also 28 people looked at this and had nothing to say? you guys sleeping?

I'm unsure if they will fit but I would go stainless, I just helped a buddy put on 304 Stainless B&B headers on a C6 and they look real nice under the hood plus weather proof

a stainless steel set of headers is the better way to go, Dynatech and Pacesetter for example, though they are so expensive. Are you talking about getting longtubes? or shorties? I would like to get a set of longtubes but I'm unsure if it will lower my fuel economy, will give me the top end power but I still need my economy lol

I haven't made up my mind yet, I was leaning towards longtubes, but Im weighing the pros and cons. My truck is not my daily driver and is my work/play truck so the economy issue isn't really on my mind much. I'll have to make the call soon, since I just lost my tailpipe LOL!!!
