Fuel Line Quick Disconnect

I have changed out my fuel sending unit but can't get the quick disconnects off the old fuel pump. Any ideas? This is for a 95 yukon four door 5.7.

 

I was going to buy new conections but dealer want $95 a piece which includes fuel lines that I don;t need.

Do you have the quick disconnect tool?

I did try the tool but the d**n thing will not fit under the sleve. The plastic on the pump is in the way. I was thinking of directly connecting the fuel line to the pump. I don't think this will casue an issue.

The connection that you have does it have a plastic sleve that sticks out of the connection?

 

Or if you can post a pic. GM uses 3 different connections and I can't figure out which one yours has.

No plastic sticking out. I did get it off using three screwdrivers. Now I am having problems getting the tank back up. I am hoping a that a couple drinks and anger will help:)
