'90 R1500 Differential Options

I am wondering what differentials were options for a 1990 R1500 Suburban. I did a search of the forum and couldn't find anything. The one I have is a 7.5" (I am 99% sure) and I would like something that will be a little more durable and somethnig with a posi. If anyone has a suggest for a certain size, I would appreciate it.

I don't know for sure but I bet that almost any rear in a 88-98 pickup would work. I have a 9.5" in my 97 k1500 and I am considering putting in a 10.5" one ton rear. If you count the bolts around the cover you could have a pretty good guess on what rear it is.

It is for sure a 7.5". Is all the suspension geometry and mounting the same for those years?

You may want to actually measure, I have heard the suburban rears are just alittle narrower but I am almost sure all of the suspension geometry is the same.
