Raced Two Trucks This Week.

Ok I have two races within the past week.

 

 

1st race: Exact same Silvy with exhaust, rear cover, 4.8L and maybe intake but white color. I took him badly, result truck lenths, maybe 2 but more then 1, and was still pulling when i shut down.

 

 

2nd Toyota Tundra 5.7, 6 speed. I took him off the line, he was about truck behind me when i shifted to 2nd and he started to pull, once i got into Third gear i slowed him down a little bit, but that wasnt enough, around 75-80mph he was even and kept pulling. He was suprised that i kept up with him. I was suprised that he was suprised. But oh well.

 

Once i get the 6 speed i will be ok with them.

well racing a civic is a givin win. I wanted to see what it would do against another silvy, and a toy

Freak, is your truck tuned yet?

I raced a bone stock nnbs 5.3 ltz ecsb and pulled on him hard as well. Most of that I attribute to the pcm tune and drive by cable though. GM really nerfed those new trucks from the factory...

3 degrees of extra timing across the board, TQM removed, and shifts firmed, thats about it, but i have headers, Custom 3" exhaust (Mandrel Bent payed up the rear for it) and Intake.

 

3.73 Gears, and wieght of vehicle is at 5700 pounds, rear cover, speakers amps, and me in the truck.
