2008 Chevy 2500hd Roof Marker Lamps

I have a 2008 Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab Shortbed and I would like to add the amber roof marker lamps. Has anyone else already done this? Is there a wiring harness already available above the overhead console? Thanks.

Yes, there is a harness, costs like $100 from dealer. I made my own using connections from Radio Shack and soldering all connections. Wired them into the low beam headlight. Stays on with both low/high beam, no problems for 3 months now. Cost me $15 and about an hour to make the harness. PM if you want more details, I know of a pretty good writeup. Chris
