17.5's Om A 98'

I'm wanting to put a nice set of 5 spoke 17.5's(OEM # 89038689) on a 98 and was wondering if you need spacers or somekind of adaptor with them because every site i look at they will only fit 04' and up but a guy i used to know has them on his 96' will they fit staight on or not?
