Nbs 2wd Ride Height

I have seen several new body style Silverados that were only 2wd half tons and they seem to sit pretty high and definately higher than my 2004 ecsb 2wd. Does anyone know if the parts would transfer over to my 2004 or what makes the new ones seem higher?

The parts are not interchangable between the 2004 and NBS. The new trucks may sit a little higher due to the new coil-over front suspension. I too found the new trucks sit higher and I even lifted the front end of mine a bit to sit higher. For your truck you will either need to crank the torsion bars which will made a stiffer ride and put a little more stress on the front suspension or order and have new torsion keys installed by someone.

Mine still has the coil springs, which for ride and handling I would think would be better than the torsion bars. I guess I'll just live with the lower ride height and take the improvement in handling it offers.
