Got A Stiff Gas Pedal....

The gas pedal in my 00 Suburban is stiff at first, but once it started to move it does just fine. I've just got used to it and tap it a couple times and go on, but if someone else drives it, they nearly hit what ever is in front or behind them due to the sticky pedal. What can I do to remedy this.

Also, does anyone know the part number to a heavier duty coil spring that I can replace the stock ones in the rear with? I am removing the auto leveling system, so I want heavier duty coil springs to help with towing.

Thanks for any help.

Clean the throttle body to get rid of the sticky pedal....can't help w/ the springs.

I agree....the throttle body needs to be cleaned.

I had the same issue in my truck, and after spending a couple of hours in a traffic jam only moving a couple of feet at a time, decided it was time to get it fixed.
