I have a 2006 Ext. Cab Sivwerado VIN 2GCEK19B861142068. It is a very good truck with 51,000 miles. I'm it's new owner of two months. The suspension seemed fine in the begining, but.....MY problem is my Back in no longer built as good as this truck suspension. And lately the truck has been winning the war. As such, my right leg and foot are going numb due to the heavy duty suspension. I've researched a lot of this, but can't seem to find exactly what are the different suspensions available as the trucks are built. I understand that a Z83 suspension will give a smoother ride. So, my question is: Can I change the shocks or something else out on this truck to give me the Z83 soother ride. Any susgestions would be greatly appriciated. Hal

Have you got the tire pressure set to the spec's on the drivers door not the max pressure of the tire? Are the tires the OEM or are they larger? You may luck out changing shocks.

^^I agree. Tire pressure would be the first thing to check.

Yes, I tried lowing the tire pressure to 31 lbs.- Both front and rear. Not really any help. Plus I didn't like the feel in the front. It seemed to feel just too low.The tires are new - Michelan LTX's. SO, I put the front tires back to 35 and left the rear at 31 for now.
