Steering Column Cover Removal

I have always had luck applying downward pressure in the turn lever hole and working the cover around from there after removing the screws in the bottom if any. just make sure the temp is warm as the cover will need to flex. Then, a E6 torx to remove the upper trim pieces. The manual says to remove the steering wheel. This would make it easier if you choose. Good Luck!
