well ive had this brake warning light for the past 3 days, first day i checked all of the fuses, bulbs, parking brake.......

it ONLY comes on after 35 mph, i could drive all day at 30 mph but as soon as i get to 35 and faster the light comes on and stays on untill i turn the truck off. but then will do the same thing after i get over 35mph.

I have a gm-1 connector and the only shops around here want to charge me over 100 dollars to scan it.. i have no idea what this could possibly be. and when i have the warning light on, if i put the parking brake on it ges brighter and when i release the parking brake it gets duller........

(btw i drove to work the day it started without a problem and when i went to lunch and pulled out of the driveway it all of the sudden came on....)

Just a thought, could be an ABS sensor got dirty and is not reading properly. I don't know if you have ABS or not though. On my 1998 Dodge there was a sensor in the rear diff. that went out and caused the brake light to come on and stay on, after I replaced the sensor it went away.

yours has rear ABS, there should be a tone ring right next to the ring gear in the diff housing. Let me do some checking

it says that when the light comes on if it gets brigther with parking brake then its not that... and to test the abs i unplug the box and if it stays on thats the problem so i will check that on my lunch hour 2 marro..... then ill check the senors and go from there i guess.
