Cracked Manifold Help/advice Please

So I got up early this morning to take my truck into the muffler shop for what I thought was a donut gasket. Turns out the driver side manifold is cracked and the front bolt is broken off in the head. Guy called GM replacement manifold is, get ready for this $2150CAD. So I need some advice as to what my best bet would be. Edelbrock shorty headers $464USD.

 

Truck is a 2005 GMC 2500hd with the gas sucker big block.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How may miles or k's do you have on your truck?

145000 km. So about 90 ish thousand miles

tell them to make sure the bolt/stud did not just fall out, just got done doing headers on my 8.1 liter and I had two bolts/studs missing....

 

if you want a set of stock manifolds I may have a pair in good used condition for ya

What kind of headers did you put on? How much did it cost you? How do they sound? Much of a power gain?

And I just checked with a little mirror. From what I can tell the bolt just fell out as I can see some threads in the head. So unless it broke off a ways into the head (doubtfull) I should be good in that department. Thanks for the tip.
