For Those Who Think That We Shouldnt Have Or Shouldnt Be At War!

I heard this song today so it inspired me to post this...

 

It seems that today most of the media and people criticize everything Bush does it used to not be like that ( For the president in general). I have known some of my friends that have served in Iraq and felt at times forgotten and achieving something for no reason. But in they end they conclude that we could never have backed down or else our country would be under attack more than just SEPT 11!

My hats off to you Nytemare. That is a beautiful song. The only thing that gets me fired up, is the government doesn't finish what they set out to do. Where the hell is bin laden? find the m/fkr and kill him. All this bull sh*t in Iraq is taking long enough. It is a good thing I don't run this country because there would be one huge black lake over there that I would call Lake America. Oil issue would be resolved. I think I better get off this subject before my blood pressure takes off.

Ya this has been turned into a cluster , we all vowed , all of us ,, to fight , and attack any place where terror exists , we all wanted to kill Saddam , we as a people where in agreement almost complete agreement to go to both Afghanistan and Iraq ..

 

How have we lost our will to continue ?

 

Today whats important is Pairs Hilton , women who are men who get pregnant and issues with about as much use as tits on a bull...

 

If nothing else , our commitment ot see Iraq to its end shows those who want to do us harm we will go the distance and even more important , other nations who would otherwise be helping terrorists , to pause and consider our reaction to there actions.

 

Speak softly and carry a big stick use to be something that had value , slowly we are becoming a nation where touchy feely is becoming the talk of the day.

Good luck brother. I did my time over there multiple times and even lost good friends I had for years during this conflict. Be safe and keep your head down! As far as forgetting those who serve and have served, you will never be forgotten by me or from anyone that has ever put on a uniform. Regardless, I still believe that most soldiers (any branch) would agree that one of the main reasons they go and continue to go is to protect each other while over there. In my opinion, there is no closer bond than soldiers on the front line watching over each other while in harm's way.

But with that said... and nothing for or against any position here... but just in general, I absolutely hate politically motivated songs. Dunno... just one of those crazy things I suppose.

I just heard this song the other day and I lived it. I have to do some research and I am just guess that he might have been in the war or he could be just singing a story but he has another song "Just got back from war" and its awesome too.

 

This song is more in the line that this is my land type view and I am going to give it all to keep it mine!

I wish the armed forces could actually do the job they are capable of. Keep the press out of combat zones, hell don't protect them. Also modify the "Rules of Engagement" so that it favors our guys and not the enemy. And to all other hostile nations, "You are either with us or against us".

 

BLKChevy, I agree everyone should support the President, not criticize. It is shameful how the press/media acts .
