92 2500 Lift Kit

I have a 1992 GMC 2500 truck that I am looking to put a 5 or 6 suspension inch lift on. What brand and kind would you recommend? I am not too experienced at these types of things so about how long would it take to install, and how difficult? Also, would i need any more parts besides what comes with the lift kit?

I am partial to the FabTech kits. It seems they have the best looking finished product and I understand install is straight forward. The problem with doing things yourself is if you run into trouble, you have a vehicle in limbo. When you have a shop do the work it gets done in a day. That said, if it's not your primary driver, I beleive the new kits come with everything you need to do it yourself.
