Keyless Entry Remote

I just purchased a 2005 Silverado crew cab and it did not come with the Keyless Entry Remote.

 

I don't know for sure it ever had one but i believe it did.

 

I have seen where you can go and purchase one on-line and they will supply the programming instructions.

 

Has anyone had any experience with doing this ?

They're ridiculously easy to program... involves locking unlocking locking unlocking and pressing a button or something like that... Simple answer, buy it online, and program it and you'll be good.

Look in your glovebox for option code "AU0",Thats the code for keyless entry.

I just did and there IS a code AU0 along with numerous others.

I don't have a keylock in the passenger door so I have to go around to the drivers side to open the door and then either reach in or go back around to get out what I need.
