Heater/ac Fan Problem

I have a 2006 2500HD witht the manual dual climate control, the fan works on settings 1 to 3 and 5 but noting on setting 4, would this be the a fan problem or the dash controller problem.

My guess would be the blower resistor.

There is not a resistor on this truck. You have only 2 possible causes, Blower motor control processor or HVAC control module. GM's trouble tree is vague at best and I have not had to mess with one of these yet but it looks like there are going to be very minor voltage changes between level settings so do you have a good volt meter. If not I would just throw the blower motor control processor at it. It's kind of the electronic equivilent of the old resistor assembly.

Thanks sparks, that's what I kind of thought, will check the voltage, but will try to track do a used contol processor
