How Much Does The Digital Upgrade For Onstar Cost?

I have a 2003 Silverado and it's going in for service. I figured I might as well have the Onstar upgraded if it's cheap.

I am not sure it can be upgraded. What I understood from reading the OnStar newsletter it was not upgradeable but would require getting a new vehicle. But if it can be, I may have to consider it.

i think it is $15 but you have to get 1 yr service to get it done that cheap

TSB 06-08-46-008 (02/22/2007 Bulletin) refers to the upgrade. I saw it on the build summary of my truck. Although, I really don't know what that is or what it means.

Theres lots of posts on this topic around the forum, but you can just go directly to the Onstar site for all the info you need. Anything beyond that, just call up your local dealer.

If I remember right, mine was $214, $15 for the upgrade and $199 for the one yr subscription to onstar on my 2004. DAve

depends on the truck if it is upgradeable or not
