I have CS3 for dummies... you know, the book. It's a giant PDF file and it's really pretty informative. It ain't exactly Adobe Manuals but it's free if you want a copy.

I'll take it! I searched forever at Hastings the other night and couldn't find anything that had all the programs in one book, and none for photoshop cs3. If its too big for a pm just let me know and I'll get ya my email.
