Does anyone have a 2008 NBS 2500HD with the snowplow prep option. I am look for the pictures of the high flow bumper that comes in this package? Anyone help?

I have a 07 GMT-900 2500 x-cab with the vyu plow prep and Western plow equipped.

What ya need to know? Where the roof beacon wires are?

 

Ok the hi-flo bumper. It is the rectangle square opening cut into the center face of the top steel part

of the bumper. It is the same bumper used on the diesel trucks.

Heres a pic of the hi flo bumper:

Thanks, Guys I am going to go look at mine then. I wonder if the Hi-Flow bumper cools better? I am sure it does cuase that cut out is most likely there to allow extra air flow due to haveing a plow on the front. Thanks, Again

 

Edit- Yea My truck does have that cut out. I have a GMC i dont know if that makes a diffrence or if the GMC hi-flow is diffrent.

GMC....................Duh!....I was trippin' and assumed you had a Chevy!

Will have to check the GMC front end too.......................

I can only they have some sort of high flow bumper also.

I have the hi flow bumper on my 07 leftover. I have the plow package,skid plate, higher amp alternator and a second battery as well. The newer plows are electric hydraulic and use a lot of electricity to run. The earlier versions of fisher plows would kill batteries on trucks without the plow package. plowking

All GMT900 HD's have the slotted or "high-flow" bumper.

And 1/2-tons with the "NHT" package also have it.
