Battery Dead?

So in the morning I went to start up my truck and it wouldn't unlock. So I used my key (for the first time ever) to unlock it. I tried starting it, but it was completely dead. Nothing worked. So I jump started it and it started right away and the battery is normal now. I know there are battery drain issues, but I don't even need to replace my battery, it's good as new. I'm confused

My battery did the same thing, took it to the dealer and they replaced it with a new battery. The stock battery was defective.
