Where Is The Obd2 Connector Of A 01 Silverado?

Could someone tell me where the OBD2 connector is on a 01 Silverado, and if you have a picture of the location, could you post it?

Right above your shins.

Yep,More specifically right above/in front of your left knee when your sitting in your truck.

Unless you have REALLY long thighs and REALLY short shins, it will not be above your knees.

Its on the lower left, on the drivers side, just below the dash panel by the emergency brake

Wont have to drop any panels.....its right there.....where everyone else has been indicating.

You can easily route the wiring from a scan gauge down the inside of the "A" pillar cover down the inside of the dash towards the emergency brake and over to the port. You will never see the wiring if you do it right.
