I also think extended cabs look better. Plus, like previously said, you get a better sized box. You got a quad? It is sure gonna fit better in there.

ext. looks more country, but all the farmers I know drive crew cabs.

Crew cabs look way better than ext. :shakehead:

Extended cabs are great if you aren't worried about rear seat comfort. If you need the bigger bed, get the extended. Where I'm from, Regular and Extended are the "Country Boy" Trucks. People won't bug you for rides as much cuz the back seats are not even close to the comfort of the crews - but you can still take people if necessary.

Crew Cabs are great for interior space and comfort. Plus, I find that they feel bigger than the ext. cab when you drive them. (Not that they actually are if you get an extended cab regular bed). Crews around here have a better resale value.

All the trucks look really great IMO. Just buy one for what you need dude.

^^^ What he said.

Also, I am not a fan of the "suicide" doors on the ext cab. The lack of a B pillar is also a weak point IMO. The other day I was parked behind a NBS ext cab and when the guy got in and slammed his door, it looked like both the driver door and rear cab door flexed way in. Flimsy!

Buy based on your personal needs....interior space/comfort vs bed space. I have 2 kids and we boat all summer. I need the Crewcab for space and towing, bed space is not an issue, my 5'9" bed is plenty for my needs. Fits nicer in the garage too.

I vote crew (as I own one and have more people than cargo to actually haul around)

plus if I needed the bed space, I would have gone to a 2500 crew with an 8 foot bed, but I didnt need the extra space

thanks to all of you ,I don't really carry people with me ,just my girlfriend on weekends ,I just like the truck style ,and in a better sense of way ,for example ,why gm choose the extended cab 1500 for the past SS models and not crew ,because its really more balanced and stylish...

do you agree?

I wouldn't agree that its more stylish ;)

I'm confident that crew cabs outsell ext cabs for personal use. I don't haul anyone besides myself, and my boxer. Well besides my girlfriend occasionally. I prefer the crew myself. Its like having an trunk that is protected from the elements in your truck. The NBS has really made it that much more useful with the fold up seats.

EDIT: On the quad topic. I can still haul my quad with the tailgate down, if you have a tool box on an ext cab, you'll have to put the tailgate down as well I believe. I have a toolbox on my truck now, and plan to have one on my new one. So either way, the truck can haul my dirtbike or quad with the tailgate down, makes no difference to me.

The SS was a great truck, I believe (my own personal belief) that GM put that to balance the weight, Crews are heavier than Extended Cabs, and putting that much power in a Regular Cab would be asking for trouble. Granted with the SS Extended Cabs, I would agree that those trucks look awesome...and the fact that most of them I see only have the SS badging, everything else is taken off...less clutter.
