If someone asked to borrow your truck would you let them?? Most of all would you trust them??

For me it depends.. There are basically 3 people that i trust to drive my truck, one being my dad and the other two are my good friends.. Mainly because i ve known them for long enough..

Other than that my truck keys do not leave my hand!

What about everyone else??

H e double hockey sticks no.

Only people who have driven my truck have been my dad, mom (she stole it this morning grrrrrr) and my gf when i was trying to pinpoint a noise which was a rock in the tire tread.

Other than that id let no one drive it

Only the wife, but she drives the truck on very rare occassions.  Other than her, don't even bother asking!

My wife - I get nervous

My inlaws - I get real nervous

My folks - no problem because they live 800 miles from me and wouldn't ever need it.

As for anyone else, the only way you'd get my keys would be if I was too "cranked" to drive home...  which doesn't happen and if it did I'd ask for a ride and leave my truck.

My truck will not work if someone else tries to drive it. So what does that tell you. If something is going to happen then it will  be while I am driving it.

My wife drives my truck once in a while. She doesn't like to though. Every one else has their own truck.

While I wouldn't let someone I don't know drive my truck, I've got no problem at all letting most people I know drive it.  I work on a farm during weekends, and if we took the attitude of that most of you have, nothing at all would get done.  I always leave the keys in my truck when I park it while I'm working up there, because the guy I work for, his wife (who happens to be my cousin), or his brother might have to use it to come pick me up.  The keys are always in my bosses truck (99 F350) as well, so if it is needed to move bales or something, we can just use it.  Heck, one time we even swapped trucks for a couple of days because I needed his to do some stuff at home.

So if I know and trust the person, its no big deal to let them use my truck.

My mom won't drive it.  I'll let me dad and brother anytime they need it.  Of course the wife.  And I have a few good friends that I would let drive it without any problem.

I have a couple of friends at work that borrow my truck from time to time. No problem, that's what insurance is for!

My Mom bought the truck and then I got it, so I let her drive it. I trust her. My uncle know how to drive it also, but he lives in Atlanta (I live is Missouri).

I don't think I trust anybody else to drive it though. I let the guys at Wal-Mart drive it but I trust they never break 20mph.

You'd be surprised. :sigh:

As for me, it depends.

If it's a rusty ol' beater that's on it's last leg, you can drive it.

If it's got a paint-job worth caring for, you don't have a snowball's chance. Actually, I'd drive it into the service-station garage  myself if I cared about it enough. either that or change the tires myself.

It depends on the situation.  I'd rather have my sister or mom driving the truck when moving to different fields rather than the $100K combine or $80K tractor that I'm in!  It is also nice to have someone drive the truck out with a nice cold pop in the middle of the afternoon, doesn't really matter who.  :sigh:  Most any person I know can drive the thing, but there is no way in heck that anyone else will get into the thing.
