V6 Help

hey guys i was just wondering if anyone knew how to get some power from my 4.3. it is an 07 classic with an airaid intake, poweraid throttle body spacer and a custom exhaust with a cherry bomb vortex muffler installed exiting in front of rear passenger tire.......dont know why i wrote that but any help is appreciated. thanks

No problem Bucko. That's what we are here for.

The main problem was probably that this was posted in Racing and not over in Full Size Trucks where it would get seen... and it was somewhat of a lost and rambling post. These forums are generally full of plenty of folks that answer questions.

I assume 'cherry' to match the muffler. If you keep the same flavor thoughout the intake and exhaust there is an extra 10% hp gain.

as far as i know its just a poweraid throttle body spacer. and anyone who likes kevin harvick is an ass he's not even close to dale sr. and shouldnt have been put in that car.

i had a hypertech programmer but it stopped working in about 6 months so i sent it back and they sent me one of the max energy programmer and it wont even do anything to my truck it keeps showing error. i tried to get my money back after about 2 weeks of talking to them and they didnt know why it didnt work. they told me they couldnt give me my money back and told me pretty much it was too bad so now i have a 400 dollar paperweight. do any other tuners work for a 07 sierra classic? i heard jet had one but i dont know how good it is.

You need some thicker skin. The way to go for tuning if you don't want a dyno tune is getting a custom tuned PCM. There's a few companies, like wait4meperformance.com, PCM4less, Wheatley, Nelson, Black bear. a google search of any of those will get you to their website. All cost less than a hand held programmer, and give better results.
