Hi y'all, this is my first post here. Though I might tap your knkowledge. This auction on ebay is for lower and upper and new valance. I was under the impression that you needed a new bumper too?? Please check it out...

To get the "look" of a Sierra Denali, yeah, the upper and lower grilles should do the trick. To get "a full Denali front-end," though, you'll need the 6.2L w/ the 6-spd, under the hood.

The Denali bumper cap is also different -- all body color. That doesn't prevent you from buying the grille, and inserting the lower insert into a chrome grille. You would ALMOST have the look.

Of course, the body side moulding, wheels, and engine, and interior are different too... details.

Welcome to the site Rich I saw a guy yesterday who must have done the same thing. It was dark out, but his truck looked so much like a Denali that I just assumed it was. It wasn't until I went and took a closer look that I saw it was a regular Sierra.

Yeah, I forgot about the body-colored bumpers.

It seems odd to me that it used to be that the more chrome a vehicle had, the higher-up it was in trim level. It seems to be just the opposite of that now - at least with the trucks. The lower trim levels get the chrome bumpers, but the Denali is all body-colored. That seems kind of backwards to me. But, oh well! No biggie...

Man, I would love to have a Denali but swore to keep my payment under $450 a month. A Denali would have been close to $600. I'll need that extra $150 for gas...

Yeah - When I bought mine, gas prices weren't as big of a deal as they are now. I really didn't expect prices to go up so far, so fast. But - thankfully - I work at a place that lets me work from home. So, now that I'm through moving stuff into this place, maybe I can leave the truck parked most days and not be running up that gas bill.
