Some Help?

One thing holdin me back from getting a new 08 Sierra is how low it sits. My current 06 Silverado is the same and I hate it. I know I can level and lift it with a kit but would love to see some pics at different angles of what the truck would look like. Very interested in the Truxxx kit which lifts the rear an inch and the front 2.5. Any pics, past experience will be appreciated.

I have the truxxx set up with 2.5" in the front and 1" in the back. I've only had it on for about a month. No complaints.

Cool guys thanks for the replies. Is yours the Truxx setup? Did it change the ride quality or MPG's at all? Have you towed anything with it yet? Wondering if it squatted funny.

They are 18s with the stock 285 65s. The picuture I have posted is with only the 2" Truxxx lift in the front. I have since taken it back to the guy who installed it and he added the 3rd spacer to bring it up to the 2 1/2 inches. I did not order the 1" block from Truxxx. I went to 4wheelparts and got 1.5 " rear blocks for half of what Truxxx wanted for them. So as it sits now I have 2.5" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. I'll try and get some new pictures posted this weekend.

 

I did notice a slight change in the ride quality, but if I had it to do all over again I would still do it. It looks much better and the ride difference is not much to speak of. I've noticed no change in the MPGs, but 90% of my driving is stop and go in traffic. Havent towed anything yet, but will be towing my boat this weekend. I'll let you know how that goes. I say go for the 08 Sierra. I drove one for 3 days before I bought my Silverado and I really liked it.

Hey, thanks for the info. So what is what with the ride? A little stiffer? Bumpier? Not a big deal just wondering. Did the dealership give you any hassles for installing the kit? Get up some pics of the boat towing!!!
